Last March 4, inside the program of the Congress organized by Cátedra Blanca, Ramon Esteve exposed two of his  recent works, the Library Sant Josep and the Center of Congresses Myrtus.

Peter Zumthor, of Switzerland, has been rewarded with the Pritzker of Architecture 2009.
The formal ceremony for the one that was recognized by the major honor of the world of architecture, was celebrated on May 29 in Buenos Aires.

The 17th of November the failure of the contest was announced for the project of the ONTINYENT GENERAL HOSPITAL, contest organized by Health Council of Valencian Community. 
The origin of the project takes into account the traditional matrix based on the program requirements. These considerations generate some independent pieces but which are closely related.
The pieces have rounded edges to make the skin continuous. The surface works as a protective filter over the façade. However the surroundings go softly through the white skin.
This veil is fragmented to let the light shine in abundance.  This enables to dynamize the space and provides apertures depending on the requirements and the solar exposure.

Using the theme " I'm in love ", Spain takes part in the Tokyo Designer's Week with a great exhibition in the spanish Embassy of Tokyo. At the exhibition it will appear products of design of the principal companies of all the habitat sectors.
The main aim is to transmit an image of Spain as modern, creative, innovative and dynamic country as well as promote the brands and the designers of contemporary habitat.
Andreu World one of the brands that takes part in the exhibition introduce the sun lounger named Code designed by Ramon Esteve Estudio of Architecture.

Ramon Esteve takes part in the exhibition " suma + sigue del disseny a la comunitat valenciana"  
The exhibition  shows the design that made nowadays in the Comunidad Valenciana across a selection of recent pieces. In whole, the exhibition shows 250 products and elements of communication created between the year 2000 and 2008 by 130 companies or valencian designers.
The exhibition shows recent pieces as the sun lounger named NA Xemena designed by Ramon Esteve Estudio de Arquitectura.
The main aim of this exhibition is emphasize the importance of the design and to show the rich contribution of the valencian designers and their influence in the professionals' work and companies of the whole world.

The Altea Fine Arts in association with the Foundation Glen Blanch of Valencia organized the first International Congress of art and architecture called SUPPORT/SURFACE.  
The speakers of the congress were personalities the world of Arts and Architecture as Claudio Silvestrin, Tony Bevan and Antonio Barea.
Among the programmed activities, the architect Ramon Esteve gave the conference A vision of the architecture focusing on the materiality of his work. 

The 6th of October took place the health Management Project Forum organized by Grupo Vía and celebrated in Barcelona.
During the event the keys for an efficient architecture were considered also hospital projects under construction were analyzed.
Personalities of the public administration and  architecture offices participated in the forum with the intention of providing with quality and prestige to the health architecture.
